William M. Easum is best known nationally for his writings. He is the author of Church Growth Handbook, How to Reach Baby Boomers, Dancing with Dinosaurs, Sacred Cow Makes Gourmet Hamburgers, The Complete Ministry Audit, and Growing Spiritual Redwoods . However, that is only the beginning of his contribution to the religious world.
Rev. Easum is a partner and senior consultant at Easum, Bandy & Associates, an organization devoted to providing the resources, services, and networks to equip church leaders to transition into the 21st Century. He devotes
himself full-time to the ministry of consulting with churches and denominational leaders, training tomorrow's leaders, and writing practical books and materials on ministry in the new millennium. He served in three churches from 1966 to 1993, growing the near-bankrupt Colonial Hills UMC from 35 to 1,000 members and a budget of $1.1 million.
Rev. Easum is a Contributing Editor for Net Results Magazine and Strategies for Today's Leaders and a Member of the Editors Board of Leadership Network.
Rev. Easum earned his BA at Baylor University, his M.Div.
at Southwestern Baptist Seminary, and a S.T.M. at Perkins School of Theology
